The mission of the Carson City District Attorney's office is to ensure the public's safety and the government's integrity through just and fair prosecutions, high quality, ethical legal representation, and prudent use of taxpayer dollars.

 Our Divisions

Criminal Division

The Criminal Division of the District Attorney's Office works with every component of the criminal justice system and the entire community to ensure that justice is served and that the rights of all are safeguarded by protecting the innocent, convicting and appropriately punishing the guilty, and protecting the rights of victims and witnesses.

Civil Division

The Civil Division of the District Attorney's Office serves the public by fostering ethical, effective, and efficient government by providing the highest quality legal advice and representation possible to Carson City's Board of Supervisors, elected officials and departments.

Juvenile Division

The Juvenile Division of the District Attorney's Office represents the State in juvenile delinquency proceedings and the interest of the public in NRS 432B proceedings.
